Karen Hopkins, M.Ed CAGS

Karen is the Director of Statewide Education and Family Services at the Maine Education Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. She brings over 28 years of experience as a collaborative teacher of the deaf, special educator, early interventionist and educational administrator to the team. Karen has lived experience as a person who is Deaf and the parent of a daughter who is hard of hearing.

Cheryl Johnson, Ed.D.

Cheryl has 15 years+ of facilitation of state and national level projects in deaf education in multiple states. She is a co-editor of the NASDSE Guidelines, Optimizing Outcomes for Students who are deaf or Hard of Hearing, 3rd Edition (2018) and previously was the consultant for deaf / hard of hearing education, educational audiology, and educational interpreting at the Colorado Department of Education. She is a co-founder of Hands & Voices and has a grown daughter who is DHH.

Anna Paulson M.Ed.

Anna is the Coordinator of Educational Advancements and Partnerships at the MN Commission of the Deaf, DeafBlind, & Hard of Hearing where she manages the work of several collaborative groups as well as data sharing across 50 stakeholder organizations. She is also the Presidential for the Council of Exceptional Children’s Division for Communication, Language and Deaf/Hard of Hearing. Anna was an instructor in the Teacher Preparation Program at the University of Minnesota.

Angela Christoffels

Angela Christoffels is the Itinerant Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for the Manchester School District as well as the parent of a Gallaudet University sophomore. She has previously worked as the Itinerant TOD for Beverly School for the Deaf in Massachusetts, taught for the Manchester D/HH program, and at The Learning Center for the Deaf (now called Marie Philip School).

Allison Jumper

Allison Jumper was a high school math teacher in New Hampshire and Massachusetts for over 7 years before taking a career sabbatical to raise her three children. Already an advocate for her own child’s hearing loss, Allison looks forward to working with the All Together Now – NH team and seacoast families to enable a more comprehensive and consistent understanding of the educational needs of deaf or hard of hearing children in this state.

John & Heather Holt

John and Heather Holt are husband and wife and both are supporting the All Together Now program and parents. Heather is a Masters level educator in School Counseling who has worked with children and families for 25 years. Heather has extensive work experience in the areas of autism, behavior management, counseling, trauma and therapeutic play based family work. As Director of ChildReach, Heather worked as a play therapist primarily with Department of Health and Human Services and children in the foster/adoptive system in England. As a past educator, and parent of a DHH child, Heather has experienced the importance of bringing legal understanding and knowledge and expertise to our schools and communities.

John is a professor and department chair at White Mountains Community College. He has a BS from University of New Hampshire and an MS from Boston University in engineering and ten years of industry experience in management before moving to academia. He founded and acted as Chairman of Unity Christian, a small private school, and as the Chairman of the School Board for the town of Dummer for 6 years in addition to serving on a number of other non-profit boards.

Korin Suarez

Korin is a parent of 4 girls, three whom are deaf and/or hard of hearing and has been on this journey for 8 years and always learning new things. She decided to join the All Together Now NH team parent position because advocating for her children and their peers is something that she’s very passionate about.

Eric MacDougall

Eric is a marketing and communications professional with over 10 years of experience in the media, real estate, and industrial machinery fields. Eric is highly skilled in audio/video production, graphic design, and editing. As a project manager, Eric has supervised the creation of radio ad campaigns, marketing collateral, video campaigns, print magazines, website launches, and more.
